In the early years film directors moved actors around a set to create movement within the frame. As cameras became lighter and smaller it was possible to move the camera by pushing or pulling, raising or lowering them. Today there is a wide range of ways to move a camera with the use of robotic technology. All of these tools move along a computer controlled path or a spline which allows for high or low speed movement that can be precisely controlled. This enables repeatability and the tuning of the path (or the shot). This finely controlled motion can greatly enhance the emotional impact of a story and is only limited by our imagination.

Today it is possible to add another dimension to movement. We have always dreamed of flying and now with today’s technology we can see like our winged friends.

Weather it’s a 100 yard dolly shoot seven feet off the ground or a city scape from above the trees, its all possible.
On the ground we have a wide of range of motion tools, from a simple single axis dolly, or a motorized 2 axis slider all the way to a full 3 axis crane that works in the studio or location. We can capture moving time-lapse imagery or slow- motion film footage.
